The south-Italian region of **Apulia,** is known for its marvellous sandy beaches**, beautiful coastal towns, ** wonderful **sandstone architecture** and delicious **Italian food**. There are countless interesting places to discover and beautiful beaches to visit. If you need a fun and adrenalin-packed break from the charming villages, don’t miss out on visiting the best aquaparks of **Apulia**. Despite obviously being a great destination for families, there are many enjoyable activities for every age and even night parties!

Aquafantasy in Lesina

The aquapark is about two hours away from the capital and biggest city of the region, Bari**. A visit there can also be perfectly combined with exploring the peninsula of Gargano**. The park Aquafantasy has many fun slides with different levels of steepness and curves; it even has a tire slide. If you still have energy left after trying out all these slides, you can either dance at the pool disco with hosts, try swimming against an artificial current or enjoy yourself in the wave pool. For those who prefer more relaxing activities, there is also the “island of wellness” with a whirlpool, hydro-massages and comfortable sun-beds. `

Splash Gallipoli

The Splash waterpark is located at the Apulian** summer party capital, Gallipoli**. The area has also some of the most beautiful beaches**. The aquapark has countless options and truly offers something for everyone. The adrenaline junkies will enjoy the steep, looping and funnel slides, while kids can let off steam at the castle or pirate ship playground. There is even an area with floating bumper cars! After all these action-loaded activities, you can enjoy a cocktail at the pool bar or get a meal at a restaurant or at some street food stand. The highlight of the Splash waterpark are the super motivated hosts, spreading good mood with dance choreographies. Keep an eye out for special events at the aquapark; they often organise holi colour events **and **foam parties **with great DJ sets.

When you visit Splash during the day, definitely take the time to also see the historical center of **Gallipoli**, which is located on an island. It is the perfect place to have a sundowner cocktail and watch the sunset.

Aquapark Egnazia

The aquapark with the most diverse and spectacular activities to choose from, is probably the Aquapark Egnazia, located in Monopoli.** Next to numerous slides, a large current stream pool and a wave pool, you can find indulge into amazing and fun watersport activities, such as bullriding on a float, jetboarding** and even water zorbing (running on water in a huge floatable bubble). Usually on Saturdays, popular Italian DJs spin at the waterpark. However, due to the great variety offered, this park is also the most expensive one: a day ticket for adults is 22€.

Usually the waterparks are open in July, August and September and visiting them in the warm summer months is definitely a fun-filled activity for all ages.
