Paris is known worldwide as the City of Delicious Food. In the French capital, it is all about tasty food and good wine. Especially on weekends, Parisians love to take the time to cook or to discover new restaurants. Brunch became so popular in Paris that they even adopted this word as a French word. If you’re looking for a big, delicious brunch with eggs, bacon, granola, pancakes and good coffee, then Holybelly is a perfect place for you. Situated not far away from the beautiful Canal Saint Martin, this restaurant offers tasty, seasonal and homemade food. I recommend you to try their “Savory stack” - the most delicious pancakes served with fried eggs, bacon, homemade Bourbon butter, and maple syrup. But, you need to know one thing, Holybelly is a very popular place, and to taste their incredible brunch, you will probably have to wait in line.

Hotel Edgar

During the sunny weekends, Hotel Edgar is the best choice to have a brunch with your friends and family. Situated on the village-style square, in the heart of the Sentier neighborhood, known historically as a textile manufacturing district, and today as a home to many start-ups, this place will charm you with their excellent cuisine. They are serving great Italian food, as well as oysters and shellfish à la plancha. On the weekends from noon to 2:30 pm, you can also order fish and chips. A very interesting thing to know is that on Sundays, the neighborhood around the Hotel Edgar is car-free.

Marché des enfants rouges

Last but not least is the Marché des enfants rouges (the Market of Red Children). Let’s have brunch in the oldest covered food market in Paris. Established in 1628, and listed as a historical monument since 1982, this market is a place with numerous stalls where you can get a delicious brunch. And just to inform you, it is not going to be easy. You will have to choose between delicious Lebanese sandwiches, Moroccan couscous, Japanese bento boxes, good quality burgers, and rich buckwheat pancakes sandwiches. You can have your brunch at the market, but if it is a nice and sunny day, you could also have a picnic in a beautiful nearby park - Square du Temple.
