The building itself was constructed in 1930, and it is located on the Merab Kostava Street. In the 20th century, there was a Publishing House that was one of the most famous and most important in Tbilisi. Another important fact is that during the reconstructions, they kept an old face of the building, that attracts the visitors today. Also, during the construction works, several printing machines were discovered on this territory, which was conserved as well.

From the first step in Stamba Hotel, you will be attracted by the hotel’s green, five-storey atrium. It is also called the “Jungle Lobby”, and it is full of beautiful plants. The lobby is designed with the wooden floor, that harmoniously intertwines with its interior. You will also see large shelves full of interesting books. On top of the building, there is a swimming pool that has a transparent bottom. 

Café Stamba

From the lobby, you can move to the Café Stamba, that has the minimalist design. Such a kind of design makes this place modern and distinctive. You can enjoy different European and Georgian dishes with some nice music in the background. It is a really great place to spend evenings with friends or family, but also very attractive for business meetings or even for solo travelers. This place is always full of people. Despite the fact that Stamba Hotel is really fast-paced, due to many guests and café visitors, you will feel comfortable. The staffs are real professionals which makes a positive aura of this place. So, if you will not stay in Stamba Hotel, at least you have to visit Café Stamba to explore it by yourself.
