Theme parks in Benidorm - Terra Mitica and Aqualandia

**Spring **is almost here, it’s starting to get hotter and warmer in the Valencian Community and he days are starting to be longer. I can’t wait for summer already, and I find myself thinking about water activities and being able to enjoy the bar terraces and the nice weather. That is the reason why I am going to tell you about two very fun places in Benidorm that you will be able to enjoy in Spring and Summer in a very nice  beach side Mediterranean city, which I have already talked about: Benidorm.

If you are keen on **feeling strong emotions and adrenaline **and you like spending time in water like me, then you should not miss the amazing theme park, Terra Mítica, and the fun aquatic park Aqualandia the summer city of Benidorm. It is time to know about these two places to be able to include them in your trip plan because I always find theme and aquatic parks very fun places in which you can have an amazing time with your family or friends when you feel like having a day outside the city.

Terra Mítica

Terra Mítica is probably one of my favourite theme parks where fun is definitely guaranteed. What I like the most is the fact that you **learn about Mediterranean ancient civilizations **whilst you are having fun, since the park is divided into five theme zones: Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia, and the Islands. There are many different attractions and rides, and the park also offers shops, restaurants and hotels – although I think one day should be enough to enjoy it all. The park is not opened yet, it opens in April, and I totally recommend visiting the park in Spring since it can be too hot to be there during summer and the experience won’t be as enjoyable as it could be.

Aqualandia

**Aqualandia **(waterland in English) in **Benidorm **is surely the best aquatic park I have ever visited in the Iberian Peninsula. I love the huge, beautiful and natural setting in which kids can definitely get lost amongst the gardens with the typical vegetation of the zone. There are fantastic water rides for all ages and tastes, divided into 3 different difficulty categories: youth attractions, moderate attractions, and radical attractions. The park is not open yet, it’ll be open by the end of May, and you must visit it if you are looking for a fun-filled day out in Benidorm with friends or with your family.

Benidorm, the New York city of the Mediterranean coast, offers many experiences to its tourists, and the experiences can be even more unique if you visit in less busy periods. In the next two or three months, come to enjoy the water, the weather and its fantastic theme parks.
