**Let’s get saucy! See mustard made in the Groningen tradition and learn everything you need to know about mustard at the factory and museum. **

  • Do you love mustard? Abraham's Mosterdmakerij & Restaurant is the right place for you, then. They still make traditional mustard right here and follow original recipes. Visit for a guided museum tour to learn everything about mustard, including how it gets made, where it comes from, and more. The tour lasts for about 30 - 45 minutes and ends with a tasting.
  • Not a fan of guided tours? No problem. Enter the mustard factory alone and wander the machinery. There are info panels around to give you some more information. You probably won’t learn as much about mustard on the self-guided tour, but it’s still an interesting place to go. Self-guided visits to the factory are free.
  • The factory museum part isn’t very big - it won’t take you long to see everything. After a tour of the mustard factory, head over to the restaurant part of Abraham. It’s worth checking out as one of the top restaurants in the area. They serve local dishes plus mustard soup. There’s also a shop where you can buy local mustard made here if the tour has won you over.
