Golfclub Schloß Frauenthal

Away from the tourist flow, in a landscape characterized by wine cultures, in the home of pumpkin seed oil, you will find the Golf Club Schloß Frauenthal.

Packed in the western Styrian hill country, the golf club promises peace and relaxation, with a hassle-free "walk in the park" without hassle and crowding on the tees and fairways. The first 11 holes are located in a parkland around the Renaissance Frauenthal Castle. Hundreds of years old oak trees, exotic tulip trees, biotopes and ponds delimit the well-manicured greens and fairways. The "signature hole", a nearly 90 meter long par 3 with island green in front of the clubhouse, completes the park course. The "back seven", the hilly and fair forest course, represents a challenge of both technical and physical nature for every golfer. Hospitality is very important in the clubhouse. The comfortably furnished restaurant spoils every guest with down-to-earth cuisine. The wine list offers an extensive cross-section of Austrian and Italian grape varieties.
