Nakhchivan

Azerbaijan is home to a vast variety of landscapes. Over half of Azerbaijan's land mass consists of mountain ridges, crests and plateaus. Across 300 locations in the country, mud volcanoes erupt, making up more than half the total throughput globally. Caspian Hyrcanian forests can be found near the Iranian border. And finally, Tears of Kyapaz, a string of seven idyllic mountain lakes, are accessible near Mount Kyapaz and Nagorno-Karabakh.

Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic

The Mausoleum of Momine Khatun (or Mu'mine Khatun) is located in Nakhchivan City, the capital of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in Azerbaijan.

The mausoleums of Nakhichevan was nominated for List of World Heritage Sites, UNESCO in 1998 by Gulnara Mehmandarova — president of Azerbaijan Committee of ICOMOS—International Council on Monuments and Sites .

Momina Khatun mausoleum

The Julfa Historical Museum  started to operate with 50 exhibits in 1981. Currently there are about 3000 exhibits and material and cultural examples obtained during archaeological excavations.
