The Centre for Fine Arts has it ALL: exhibitions, concerts, theater performances, movies, projects on literature and architecture, and so much more! Originality and innovation are at its highest at Bozar. Grab a seat and prepare for a thought provoking experience.
Where is Bozar?
Bozar is situated in the Mont des Arts in Brussels, so it’s conveniently located in the middle of the city. This is no small museum. In fact, you’ll probably get lost walking through the massive building! You’ll need a few hours here - even the temporary exhibits are spread across multiple rooms.
What about the exhibits?
Think of Bozar as an innovative laboratory of ideas turned into art. Temporary exhibits highlight both local and international artists. Throughout the week they also have live performances, guest speakers, and other interactive events. There is ALWAYS something going on at Bozar. Some of the exhibitions they’ve had include monographic architecture by Belgian architecture firms, themes on food waste, data pollution, and of course your classic paintings and sculptures. Most recently they’ve dedicated an exhibit to English artist David Hockney, and he’s even made a guest appearance to give a super exclusive tour!

I visited Bozar during the David Hockney exhibit, and to say I was amazed would be an understatement! Being able to see all of his life’s work was truly incredible. And the time and care Bozar takes into making each art piece feel special made the experience that much better. I will definitely be returning! Plus there’s a super cute bookstore, and who can say no to that?
