**Do you want family fun or a relaxing stroll? This park is for you. There’s some pretty stuff here too, so don’t just run straight to the mini golf. **

Lier's city park has been all kinds of parks over the years - they even used to study different types of trees there. But Lier’s council bought it and turned it into a park for everyone. That means there’s cycling space, a playground for kids and some picnic spots. But some of the history of the park and Lier is still here, so don’t miss it.

• The adventure playground is always a hit with kids and so is the story house. The story house is starting back up in 2021 so keep an eye out for that.
• Right next to the playground is the Coffee House. Since it’s next to the play area, parents usually hang here to keep an eye on their kids but it’s a nice spot to grab a coffee for anyone if you need a break. Just don’t expect it to be quiet in summer!
• The picnic area also has a sun tent so you’re not going to melt in the summer. If you’re going to have a picnic here, make sure you also walk around and see the bridges.
• Stadspark has picturesque lakes and white bridges. If you go at a quieter time, they’re a romantic spot.
• There’s a statue of the blacksmith Louis van Boeckel in the centre who has multiple works throughout Lier. Fun fact: he also made the white fence of the White House.
• Going on a bike? Stadspark is cycler friendly There’s a bicycle pump and repair kit available to the public just in case you need it
