Activities at Coo-Adventure

There’s over 20 activity options, including kayaking, skydiving, and rafting. plus weekend plans if you’ve got some more time and a bigger group. See the full list on their website, but we’ve found these 3 to be the most popular.

  • Kayaking: a 2 hour journey down the Amblève river. Prices start at 18€ per person. Meet up at 4 Petit Coo, 4970 Coo, Stavelot and head on down to the river. The river is a little further aways from the meeting point, so they offer a bus (3€ extra) for the journey there and back if you’d prefer. Otherwise, you can rent mountain bikes there. There aren’t any lockers on site, so it’s 3€ extra for a bucket to keep things dry in the kayak.
  • Horse riding: based in the woods of Spa, you’ll spend an hour and a half on horseback riding near the Waterfalls of Coo. There’s two options depending on whether you’re a beginner or experienced rider. Either way, it’s 29€ per person.
  • Outdoor Paintball: 16+ only! Indoor paintball is also available, but it costs a bit more. Play against another team in full camo in the woods of the Ardennes. Take cover if you want to win! The paintball activity is pricier, starting at 22€ per person for 100 balls. Please note that safety equipment is limited, so you’ll probably end up with bruises.

Tips and Tricks

  • Weird, but they don’t accept cards. You’ll have to get cash. There is no bank/ATM in Coo, so come prepared. Keep in mind that with cash you’re unlikely to get a refund.
  • We’ve had mixed reviews from visitors on their customer service. We recommend emailing ahead of time if you have specific questions and reserving for activities.
  • For kayaking, check water levels before you book. The river isn’t super deep and gets rocky. It’s not suited for kayaking if the water levels are low.
