Nestled into the forest and park Prinsenbos and right next to the Museum for Old Techniques, Prinsenkasteel has remained hidden to most tourists. Favoured by local joggers and trekkers and history buffs, the castle is overgrown by plants and surrounded by a moat. Drop by to see this hidden gem of Grimbergen.

- The walking paths are pretty flat. Used by joggers, walkers and wheelchair users. Prams will also have an easy time of it here. If you’re looking for a relaxing stroll and happen to be in the area, Grimbergen is a pretty good choice thanks to its view of the ruins. The park isn’t that big though and doesn’t offer much of a challenge, so you’ll have to run around a few times to work up a sweat!
