Castle tours
Isn’t it pretty? Designed by architect Heugenbaarts in the 1890s, the castle features a moat, bridge and pretty towers. A castle straight out of a fairytale! Kasteel van Zellaer is in the process of being restored, but you can get in for a small fee on a tour.
The tour lasts 1.5 to 2 hours and takes you through everything from the history to the smallest of details. Explore the narrow corridors and small rooms to uncover the full story of this beautiful castle.
Castle Park: Kasteel van Zellaer’s park has only been recently opened to the public. Small but pretty, the park features trees that are 200+ years old and a walking path around the castle moat. The real highlight is the castle itself, though.
