Kayaking in the Maas at Rivierpark Maasvallei

Fancy a day out on the water pushing some pedals? Check out this place where you can rent a kayak, canoe or raft.

Kayak Maasland runs daily rentals that are quite affordable for a lovely, calm trip up the Maas (the Meuse). So be noted that there are no rapids here, so don't expect a wild ride on that raft :) but a pleasant outing that is doable for the whole family. The starting point is near their office and can be found as ""Kajak Maasland - startpunt Kotem"" and the journey ends 9 KM further in Molenveld, Meeswijk (where there is a ferry to Holland). The journey depending on your speed takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours and can be taken anytime between 10:00 and 15:00. However, if you have the time, recommend to stop along the way and bring a picnic or a snack!
