Kruispoort Gate

Enter or leave Bruges in style through this historic gate. Go along the cobblestone or the cute drawbridge to see Bruges’ history in person. Kruispoort Gate is one of the four remaining city gates of Bruges from 1402. Kruispoort is especially great to see since it’s so close to Bruges four old windmills, so you get multiple photo ops in a row.

Pedestrians, cyclists and even cars are allowed through the gate. So no matter how you’re seeing Bruges, the gate is an easy sight to see. About a 15 minute walk from the city centre, you don’t have to go far to get a peek at what Bruges used to be.
