Welcome to the swim centre. Get in line for the water slide or make your way to the sauna. There’s lots to do, so just jump right in.

Who doesn’t love going down water slides? LAGO is a popular spot in the summer. Not just for the water slides, but also for the outdoor swimming pool, sauna, and kiddie pools. This is a good spot for a family day out in Lier or for adults wanting to chill in the sauna.

The outdoor area of the centre contains the outdoor swimming pool (kept at 29.5 ° C), the triple slide, water playground, and sunbathing area. Inside you’ll find 7 more pools, the swimmer’s terrace, sauna, steam bath and more. Yup. It sounds like a lot because it is.

  • There’s the big water slide in the indoor pool and a smaller slide on the outdoor pool.
  • LAGO has a bunch of different pools so there’s something for all ages. There’s 3 kids pools and a wave pool. The wave pool isn’t great for younger kids, but for older ones and teens it’s a good option.
  • It can get popular in the summer, so it’s usually too crowded then for regular swimmers unless you book a sports timeslot (that can be expensive, though). So go on quieter days instead for exercise.
  • You’re actually not allowed to bring your own food, but there are food shops there on the Pool Terrace. Still, if you’re picky then you’re best off getting something in town instead.
  • The sauna, jacuzzi, and steam cabin are great for adults & couples looking to relax. It also has air massages to relax the joints. This area tends to be quieter too.
  • Want to get tanned? They also have a sunbathing area on the Pool Terrace. It’s a nice relaxing spot and the grass is pretty. Just keep in mind the grass is fake. It gets hot in the summer, so stick to the wooden terrace!
