Known as “Het Bosje” to locals (The Little Forest), Maria Hendrikpark has something for everyone. You can rent a boat, play mini golf, go skateboarding - we could go on. Not only is there lots to do for all ages, this park is a great place to just chill. If you wanna take a walk around in peace or sink into the grass without judgement, Maria Hendrikpark is the place to be.

Walk or cycle around the park to relax. Enjoy the view of the two pretty lakes and the unmissable old water tower. Seriously, the tower towers over everything and you can kinda see it from the town too.

• Head over to the lakes to rent a boat or to enjoy a drink at the recreation centre Koninginnehof. There’s a playground right next door, too
• You’ll hear Koninginnehof before you see it. Their playground, mini golf course, and go karts are always a fun time for the kiddos.
• Grab your skateboard and go to the free skate bowl (De Velodroom) in the park. Check out the graffiti art area here too
• The More You Know: the park is actually named after King Leopold’s II wife
