All the History Goods
Built in the 13th century. The castle’s been about since at least the 13th century and it took some damage in the past. In the 1400s, there was a revolt in Ghent and the castle was taken by Philip the Good. What a nickname, we know. He was also really good at destroying castles! Poeke Castle was eventually rebuilt in the 1700s to the stunning sight we see today.
