A beautiful view

The Giant’s Tomb is a well-known viewpoint of a U bend along the river Semois. The view itself is stunning no matter the weather, but is best seen on sunny days where you can see quite far. There’s benches and picnic tables at the viewing point to relax, take in the view, and snap up photos.

On the shoulders of giants

According to legend, there was once a giant called Treviso. He fought the Romans at the river of Sambre and was defeated. Rather than be captured and dragged back to Rome to fight in the colosseum for the rest of his days, the giant Treviso threw himself off the cliffs of Rocher des Gattes. It’s been the giant’s tomb ever since.
