In a steep-sided valley down which the Ry de Jance steam tumbles, the limestone buildings of the old oil factory were started in 1816. The old oil factory mill remained active until at least 1865. The buildings are clustered together beside the stream on its right bank. ©iStock/Thomas_Zsebok_Images
