One of Belgium’s most well-known theme parks. Great for a day out with the family and friends.

Walibi is an iconic amusement theme park of Belgium. Just a short drive away from Brussels, Walibi is perfect for any family day out with the kids or fun with friends. There’s a variety of rides for all ages. The theme park also has many restaurants and cafes on site. It's one of the best family things to do in Belgium!

Family friendly

Most rides (around 16 of them) are suitable for children, but they must be accompanied by an adult. One family favourite is the Tiki-Waka ride. Tiki-Waka is just tall enough at 21 m (68.9 ft) to give the kids a bit of fun.

Other than the many family friendly rides, you’ve got other things to do with the kids too at the amusement park. Head indoors for an interactive family friendly experience at Popcorn Revenge. It’s an interactive ride themed around cinema with games to play along the way. On top of that, you’ve got the classic theme park attractions like the carousel.

Feel the thrill

Most rides in Walibi are family friendly, but there’s a few rides for all you thrill seekers too. The rides are themed and are iconic features of the park. The main thrill rides are Vampire, Dalton Terror, Cobra, and Kondaa.

  • Kondaa is the fastest rollercoaster in the Benelux area (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg) at a respectable 164 ft (50 m). The max speed is about 113.0 km/h (70 mph). You start the ride with an 80 degree drop. Then, there's hills and turns aplenty and a unique cobra roll.
  • Vampire is Walibi's inverted roller coaster ride. Vampire goes up to a top speed of 80 mph so it's even faster than Kondaa. It's one of the most popular rides at Walibi for its blood chilling upside down moments. You'll be upside down about 5 times along the roller coaster ride. You'll feel the chill up from your toes. Literally as your legs dangle out in the air from the cart.
  • Cobra is a classic style roller coaster ride. It might start off slow, but the cobra soon strikes. You'll be speeding up the tracks at 75 mph+ before you know it. The ride is a boomerang roller coaster. It's that type where you go through a vertical loop, then you backwards through the loop again. It's a classic icon of the Walibi theme park and definitely worth trying out.
