Praça Governador Israel Pinheiro

Praça Israel Pinheiro, also known as Praça do Papa, is an important square located in the Mangabeiras neighborhood, in Belo Horizonte. It is located near the base of Serra do Curral and it is over 1,100 m in altitude. Its popular name was given after Pope John Paull II visited the city in 1980. © istock/ Brunomartinsimagens
