Joaquina Beach is an oceanic beach in the Brazilian city of Florianópolis, east of Santa Catarina Island, south of Brazil. The point sought by surfers, has already hosted some world surfing championships. The name of the beach is recent, appearing for the first time on maps from 1975. © Istock/ SEASTOCK
