And last but surely not least, is the lovely city of Santiago: modern, dynamic and organized… while still being a great place for relaxing thanks to its many parks and recreational areas.
Chilean people are warm and welcoming and the getting in touch with them is not difficult. On the other hand, people’s kindness and hospitality is something that surprises many visitors.
A fun fact about Chile: you can experience both summer and winter in the same day! During the southern winter, you can try out some of the best ski slopes in South America in the massive Andean mountains. Do it early in the morning and then hit the road: it’s only a two-hour road journey from the mountains to the ocean, where you can enjoy a delicious seafood dinner on the coast, with the breeze and atmosphere or warm summer nights!

Chile

A segment of this region’s land is considered Patagonia, and it is not hard to imagine its landscapes’ stunning and picturesque beauty. Many species from both the animal and vegetal kingdom coexist here, creating a natural ecosystem that is delicate and unique. Los Lagos is also very rich in culture and history: one of the oldest archaeological sites, Monte Verde, is here and still fascinates many scientists with its many unsolved mysteries. Alongside an important indigenous culture, countless traces of Spanish and German colonial history are found in every single town and city, leaving many tourists with a bitter-sweet taste from ancient times and gone-by cultures.
