Welcome to the beer-drinking capital of the world! And that is exactly what you’ll be doing at the Beer Museum in Prague; drinking beer.

When in Prague drink beer, right? Well, that’s exactly what you can expect from the Beer Museum. But first, you’ll actually be able to go on a little self-guided tour and read about beer and some interesting facts behind how it’s made. You will also learn about the history of beer in the Czech Republic which dates back over 1000 years!

The tour takes place in a dark cellar which gives it an authentic feel. Throughout the self-guided walk, you will learn about the different ingredients that go into beer along with some interesting facts on how it all started.

Of course, the tour wouldn’t be complete without some beer... So after you go through and learn a thing or two about beer, you will be rewarded with some samples of local Czech beer. The sample beers alone pay for the entry price!

Enjoy a nice variety of delicious Czech beers where the hosts can answer any questions you may have on the process of varieties of beer that they offer. It’s a great place to get your day started on the right foot.

• Inside the beer museum, you can even bottle your own beer. Basically, you create your own label with the type of beer and there’s your souvenir from Prague. A perfect gift to bring home to your dad!
