Bio Oko is a cinema popular with locals of all ages in Prague. It has a hip and relaxed atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor spaces to hang out, including a nice bar. It is known for screening arthouse films as well as cult classics.
The cinema holds 280 seats, of which there are lawn chairs, classic velvety movie seats, and a small car that you can hop in and enjoy the movie from. Something is constantly happening here - from morning screenings for seniors, through family films, and travel lectures, to evening screenings and sitting in the café after the film.
They also hold small film festivals and other fun events for the community regularly. The cinema, or "kino" in Czech, is located in the trendy area of Letná, so there are lots of other cool sites and activities to check out nearby before or after catching a movie here.
