The church of Virgin Mary is one of Pisek’s most iconic buildings in its historical center. It’s actually located right next to a bunch of delicious cafes, restaurants, and even next to a cute market. So, there’s a few extra reasons why you have to go check out the area right there!
If you aren’t afraid of heights, you can even make your way up the bell tower. It's the tallest building in Pisek so you’ll be greeted with beautiful views over the Old Town and the Otava River. You can even spot Pisek Stone Bridge, one of the oldest bridges in Europe.
