Enjoy hiking and exploring new places? Divoká Šárka is exactly that and it’s only a short tram ride from the city. You may have driven past it if you’ve gone to the airport. Located halfway between the city and the airport you can find this picturesque area known as Divoká Šárka.

This nature area outside of Prague is famous for its unique landscapes. Walk through valleys, hills, steep rocks, and on trails through the forest. The rock formations you’ll see all around the park are fascinating and fun to explore.

If you’re exploring the park in the summer then you have the option to cool off in an outdoor pool or a lake that can be found in the park. Make sure to pack lots of food and enjoy a full day exploring this outdoor wonderland.

• In the summer months, the stream-fed pool or the reservoir also located in the park are popular options to spend an afternoon soaking up the sun. You’ll be able to find all sorts of activities taking place as well like ping-pong, foosball, and movies.
• Inside the park, you’ll find a few pubs where you can have a drink and a bite to eat.
• The park itself is named after the mythical female warrior Divoká Šárka which translates to Wild Sarka.
• In winter months the rock, cliffs, and surrounding areas get blanketed by snow to create quite a fairytale-like atmosphere. There really is no bad time to explore Divoka Sarka
