They’re like 99% real! Take your picture with your favourite wax star at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum.

Located right in the heart of downtown, you can find all your favourite stars, celebrities, and sports heroes come to life. Well, not exactly but they couldn’t look any closer to being real. It’s one of the things that Madame Tussaud’s museums have always been known for. It takes a few eye squints to realize they’re wax models!

It’s a weird and fun concept seeing some of your favourite celebrities as wax models. Especially since they look so real. It’s unusually entertaining seeing how realistic a statue made of wax can look. And that’s exactly how Madame Tussaud and her museums have expanded globally.

This location in specific isn’t one of the bigger ones you can find in Europe. Amsterdam is definitely the “gem” of them all but this one here in Prague is no slouch either. It is smaller in size but its location (right in the heart of Old Town Prague) makes it a great stop if you’re exploring that part of the city.

• Madame Tussaud used to make death masks of executed nobles back in the 1790s. Why? She had to prove her allegiance to the revolution. It’s safe to say Madame Tussaud lived a crazy life!
• Madame Tussaud’s attractions can be found all around the world now from Shanghai to Sydney and of course all over Europe where it first started. She has definitely left a mark on our planet since her first shop opened in 1835.
