Explore Wallenstein Garden, full of peacocks, koi fish, beautifully trimmed hedges and much more.

Want to explore the most beautiful park in Prague? That’s exactly how most people feel about the Wallenstein Garden. The gardens are not talked about much even though the beauty of the garden would make you think that everyone knows about it. That’s not the case with Wallenstein Gardens and that’s why we love recommending this quieter yet gorgeous green space right in Prague.

Inside the garden, you will find a very geometrically friendly design where everything seems like it has a place. Everything is symmetrical, neat, and organized. Peacocks can be found roaming the grounds flashing their feathers, while koi fish will be swimming in the ponds around the grounds.

If you’re looking for a great picnic spot then this is it. There are lots of grassy areas and with all the beautiful surroundings it really makes for a great little picnic spot. But watch out for the hungry birds.

  • This gorgeous garden dates back to the 17th century and was created for Duke Albrecht. What a time to be alive...having beautiful gardens created just for you.
  • The style of the gardens and the palace are actually some of the earliest works of Baroque architecture and style found in Prague.
  • Nowadays you will be able to see events and even concerts within the grounds by the Sala Terrena. Not a bad place to host an event!
  • The Prague Castle is not too far away and actually one of the best views of Wallenstein Gardens is up from the Castle where you can see the gardens from above.
