Hørby Færgekro or Hotel Hørby Færgekro ApS is a ferry cow located in the village of Hørby on Tuse Næs at Isefjorden and Holbæk Fjord just across from Holbæk. An old ferry road has been around here since 1730 and travelers have used the inn as a relaxation or resting place before moving on. A small ferry that sailed from Hørby Harbor to Holbæk had its shine in the 1950s and the first part of the 1960s, where the shipped schoolchildren and excursionists over the fjord. But the general development coupled with an ever-expanded bus service gradually made the ferry untouched, after which it was finally set in 1972.

The village of Hørby, located around Hørby Færgekro is a relatively modern substitute for the original village called Højby, which until the replacement at the end of the 18th century was further inland at the church and manor house approx. 1.5 km northwest of the present village at the harbor. The change that the replacement contributed to the then transition from cultivation community to a number of common urban areas to self-separated land plots resulted in a large number of farms moving from the villages to the farms replaced by the farms. In Hørby, the replacement took place in the form of a marked relocation of all the village's more than 20 farms, so only the manor houses Hørbygård and Hørby Kirke were back at the original country's place. Many of the replaced farms settled at the small harbor area, which until then was called Højby Ladeplads, but subsequently gradually changed its name to Hørby and Hørby Harbor.

The inn was destroyed by a fire in 1968, after which it was rebuilt in its current more modern flat design. The difference is very clear when compared to the former Hørby Færgekro as it appears in the enjoyable Danish family film Færgekroen from 1956, where the inn remains in its original traditional design from the 19th century. The film takes place around Hørby Færgekro and a conflict around the little local ferry that evolves into a conflict between cosiness and modern development that threatens to destroy the local idyll. Hørby Færgekro also acts as a location in a single section of the TV series Reisehold.
