The Conservatoire is open all year and offers an opportunity to learn about the history of plants of all kinds: medicinal, aromatic, those yielding condiments, perfumes, spices, textiles, dyes etc...) and the ways in Man uses them. A one-hour long audioguide tour, video projections, video terminals and interactive games enable children and adults to become more aware of issues relating to biodiversity and ecology. In fine weather the tour continues with a walk among the various rich and diverse collections of 1300 species of useful plants. Sales of specimens of plant collections, craft products and souvenirs.
