Fruit close collaboration between the department of Charente, the Ministry of Culture and Communication, the city of Angouleme and New Aquitaine region, the International City of comics and image meets the museum comics, exhibition spaces, a heritage library, a specialized public library, a documentation center, an international artists' residence (home of authors), a reference bookshop, a film two bathrooms art and testing and research, a convention center, a multimedia technical support center and panoramic brewery.

Distributed in three stunning buildings bordering the Charente river or overlooking, the City is in the heart of the big picture cluster that has developed in the department, contributing to its national and international reputation and confirming Angoulême as the world capital the comics.
