The Alsatian Museum of the city of Strasbourg is a museum of folk arts and traditions, presenting the testimonies of the traditional Alsatian life from: habitat, furniture, everyday objects, ceramics, costumes, religious objects, toys, crafts. They are mostly presented in re-enactments of interiors and workshops of craftsmen. The Alsatian Museum has been the repository since the beginning of a large collection entrusted by the Society of History of the Israelites of Alsace and Lorraine, allowing to present, in association with the collections owned by the museum, the cultural heritage of the Jews of 'Alsace.
