Musée Archéologique

Installed since the late nineteenth century in the basement of the Palais Rohan, the Strasbourg Archaeological Museum invites you to discover the most distant past of Alsace from Prehistory (600,000 years) at the dawn of the Middle ages (800 AD).

Her collections continue to regularly enrich the product of recent excavations. Temporary exhibitions present each year the regional archaeological news and contribute to the Archaeological Museum a living showcase of archaeological research.
