The Cernuschi museum, inaugurated in 1898, is one of the oldest museums of the City of Paris. It is also the second Asian Art Museum in France and the fifth of Chinese art museum in Europe.

Formed collections brought back by Henri Cernuschi Far Asia in the late nineteenth century and since enriched by acquisitions and donations, the museum presents a chronological journey of Chinese art from the Neolithic to the Song Dynasty. Japanese parts (including the famous Great Buddha), Vietnamese and Korean complete this trip in Asia.

The permanent collections are free.

The Cernuschi museum also offers a variety of activities for all ages and a conference program.

Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 18pm. Closed Mondays and holidays.
