It has several villages classified as among the most beautiful in France, but also to the Pyrenees mountain chain and the Spanish border (to the south-west). Nasbinals is a small town of the Aubrac area, close to the Aubrac lakes. Its romanesque church was built in the 11th and 12th centuries, then redesigned in the 14th century using "Margeride" granite, together with some basalt and Volcanic tuff.
