The bridge Valentré (in Occitan bridge of Balandras), also called bridge of the Diable, is a fortified bridge of the XIVth century crossing the Lot to the west of Cahors, in France. Today, with its three fortified towers and six arches preceded by sharp beaks, it offers an example of medieval defense architecture.
The Valentré bridge is classified as a historic monument by the list of 1840 and since 1998 as a UNESCO world heritage site, under the roads of Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle in France. Since 2012, with the Millau Viaduct, the Pont du Gard, the Devil's Bridge and the Garabit Viaduct, it is one of the remarkable bridges in the South of France.
