Quartier latin

The Latin Quarter is located on the left bank of the Seine in Paris in the 5th arrondissement of Paris and in the north and east of the 6th arrondissement of Paris, with the historical heart of the Sorbonne. It takes its name from the intensive use of Latin in the courses given by the schools and medieval universities located in the neighborhood.
