Montcuq is a former commune in the Lot department in south-western France. On 1 January 2016, it was merged into the new commune of Montcuq-en-Quercy-Blanc. The town remains vibrant and a popular tourist destination. It still has a rich agricultural industry, and is known for its manufacture of meringues and gaufres de Saint Daumes waffles.
