The Art Museum of Georgia, also known as the Shalva Amiranashvili Museum of Fine Arts, is one of the most renowned museums in Georgia, with a collection of approximately 140,000 items of Georgian, Asian, Russian, and Western European paintings and artifacts. The new Art Museum in Tbilisi is comprised of three concrete buildings that combine public cultural exhibit areas with ongoing commercial events. The forerunner of the present-day museum, the National Art Gallery first opened in 1920. Picture © Credits to Wordpress.com
