With about 82 million inhabitants, Germany is the most populous member state of the European Union. Germany's capital and largest metropolis is Berlin, while its largest conurbation is the Ruhr, with its main centres of Dortmund and Essen. The country's other major cities are Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Leipzig, Bremen, Dresden, Hannover, and Nuremberg. Elevation ranges from the mountains of the Alps in the south to the shores of the North Sea in the northwest and the Baltic Sea  in the northeast. The forested uplands of central Germany and the lowlands of northern Germany are traversed by such major rivers as the Rhine, Danube and Elbe. Germany's alpine glaciers are experiencing deglaciation. When thinking of Germany, beer, lederhosen and Alpine hats quickly come to mind, but these stereotypes mostly relate to Bavarian culture and do not represent Germany as a whole. Germany is a vast and diverse country with 16 culturally unique states that have been politically united since 1871. Even within states there is often considerable cultural diversity.

Germany

It is Germany’s third-largest state in terms of size and population. The state’s capital and largest city is Stuttgart, home to the Wilhelma, a royal estate with a zoo and gardens. Porsche and Mercedes-Benz have established their headquarters and museums in this city. Hohenzollern Castle, built in the 19th century, is located south of the Swabian Alps.The Land has many other tourist attractions, including the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), the Lake Constance (Bodensee), the Swabian Alb (Schwäbische Alb), the Danube and some historic towns such as Baden-Baden, Konstanz, Heidelberg, Freiburg and in Brisgau, Tübingen and Ulm. The landscapes are very diverse, from the vast forests to the monumental lakes and rivers of the Land.

The golf club Glashofen was founded in 1987 and has been growing steadily ever since.
The golf course in a spectacular location was designed by the renowned golf course architect Kurt Peters. The complex is characterized by changing terrain, particularly short connecting paths between the railways and magnificent landscape views.
The 27-hole course is one of the most beautiful and interesting golf courses far and wide.
In 2012, a new bunker concept was implemented on the "yellow" course to make it even more attractive and spectacular.
