In 2008, for the first time, the wooden amphitheater, which offers space for 450 spectators, was built and recorded. For reasons of permitting, the semicircular theater building must be dismantled every year in autumn and put up again the following spring. In the amphitheater, several plays are performed daily in the summer months under the open sky. The focus of the productions is on pieces by William Shakespeare, Carlo Goldonis and Molières. For the future it is planned to erect a permanent theater building with year-round operation at the same location.
