Wallgraben Theater Freiburg

The Wallgraben Theater is one of the oldest private theaters in Germany and is located in the heart of the city of Freiburg. Founded by a group of theater enthusiastic students more than 50 years ago, the Wallgraben Theater is today a professional theater building in Freiburg. With its repertoire of sophisticated entertainment and experimental avant-garde, the Wallgraben Theater is an integral part of Freiburg as a cultural center. There are five house productions and the Rathaushofspiele in summer on the annual season ticket.
