Voulismeni Lake, Agios Nikolaos, Crete

Lake Voulismeni is a small, formerly freshwater lake, later connected to the sea, located at the centre of the town of Agios Nikolaos on the Greek island of Crete. It has a circular shape with a diameter of 137 m and a depth of 48.8 m. The locals refer to it as simply "The Lake". © Istock/Vladographer © Wikipedia
