**See the spectacular view from what once was the highest tower in the Netherlands.

**

The Euromast was designed in 1960, for the Floriade (an international exhibition and garden festival). At over 100 metres, it had to be the tallest construction in Rotterdam, but a few years later 85 metres were added to the construction, because another building received the title of tallest construction. Today it isn't the highest construction anymore, but it is still an important building in Rotterdam.

Go into the tower and see the view, which is spectacular. On clear days you can see up to 80 kilometres and see the Belgian city of Antwerp. With a ticket you have access to both the platform at a height of 100 meters and the Euroscoop at a height of 185 meters.

Visiting the tower and seeing the view is great, but if you are a daredevil, you can abseil or zip line from the Euromast. Just make sure to book this in advance, as it is not available on all days of the week.
