Sundarbans, West Bengal

The Sundarbans form the largest mangrove forest in the whole world. The region is divided between India and Bangladesh, with 4,000 square kilometers lying in the Gangetic delta in the Indian state of West Bengal. The Sundarban National Park is home to over 100 Royal Bengal Tigers and various exotic crocodiles, turtles and birds. The Sunderbans is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. © iStock /5bf5911a_905
