Kawah Ijen, East Java

Kawah Ijen is a caldera in East Java, part of Ijen stratovolcano complex. Inside the caldera is a highly acidic lake and an active solfatara. Sulfur emitted by the active vent catches fire upon contact with air and burns with a beautiful blue flame.
