Wae Rebo, Flores

Wae Rebo is the most authentic Manggarai village in Flores. It has been awarded an UNESCO Heritage prize for the preservation of traditional tribal culture, specifically, the mbaru niang (tall conical houses) and the animist Penti ceremony. © Mark Levitin
