Dimora Archimedea dominates the site where Cicerone located the tomb of the legendary mathematician Archimedes of Syracuse. It is located 300 mt far from the Archeological Neapolis Park which includes the Greek Teather, the Roman Amphitheater and the Dionysius Ear, in the heart of Grotticelle Necropolis area, traced back to fifth century BC. The Dimora Archimedea was built in the second half of 1800, and it shows different styles due to the owners who followed until today. The actual owner preserved what he found about 15 years ago, restoring every single architectural detail, including the large garden where you will feel the atmosphere of Magna Grecia.
