Great Saint Bernard Pass

The Great Saint Bernard Pass is located on the border between Switzerland and Italy. It has always been an important way through the Alps. Because of its high altitude, the pass and its road are accessible to travellers by car only between 1st of June and the 15th of October. In some years, even for a shorter period.
